Last March the Wellow™ Group completed the operation to merge TVRia and Futurcabo - Telecommunications.
Completing 27 years of activity, the TVRIA - Communication Systems has been an important player in the telecommunications panorama in Portugal, having accompanied the development of this sector over the last three decades, with very consolidated operations in this area of activity.
With this operation it is possible to integrate the expertise of both companies and diversify the solutions: Design, Construction, Sale, Installation & Maintenance are the services that are now part of the service portfolio of Futurcabo - Telecommunications.
A merger that allows the brand Futurcabo to consolidate its positioning as a reference telecommunications services provider in the Portuguese market, as NOS' Service Provider.
The installations in Albergaria-a-Velha, in Aveiro, TVRIA's former headquarters, continue to be an important commercial and logistical hub for the company, providing support for commercial and technical operations in the northern market.
In a year that celebrates 25 years of activity, the Futurcabo today represents, in average annual terms, more than 300 business customers and around 10,000 residential customers, with an invoicing volume of around 12,000,000 euros. With 350 employees/active staff, in 2022 it carried out more than 200,000 technical interventions and covered a territory representing 1 million accommodation units (UA's) distributed over an area of more than 5,500km2.
