The Wellow™ Group was distinguished with the Municipal Medal of Merit - Gold Grade, in the Commemorations of the 264th Anniversary of the Oeiras Council.
The Wellow™ Group was decorated by the Oeiras City Council with the Municipal Medal of Merit for its contribution to the development of Oeiras and Portugal, in a ceremony that took place in the Gardens of the Marqueses de Pombal Palace. This recognition is especially gratifying at a time when the group is close to celebrating its 25 years of activity.
The decoration was awarded following the celebrations of the 264th Anniversary of the Oeiras Council and aims to distinguish citizens and institutions that stand out and contribute to make Oeiras a municipality of excellence. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor, Isaltino Morais, who handed over the Gold Medal of Merit to Rui Fiolhais, Vice-Chairman of the Wellow™ Group, representing the group.
For César Santos, Founder and Chairman of the Wellow™ Group "this is a distinction that makes us very sensitive and is the culmination of more than 24 years of a journey closely linked to the Municipality of Oeiras, where we are headquartered and have our services centralised".
The Oeiras Council hosts a large number of small and medium-sized companies (24,117) and a relevant number of large companies (106), being one of the most dynamic Portuguese Councils in economic terms and home to many relevant organisations in the national business fabric.
The Oeiras Municipal Medal of Merit thus joins another distinction recently awarded to the Wellow™ Group: the Top 20 happiest companies - the Happiness Works® 2023 study.
